TECHNIQUES is releasing his debut EP "Switch" out on Kitsuné December 2nd!
Sharam Jey with Jon Sine have edited, remodeled and remastered one of the best tracks from the 60's. That piano riff is unequivocal... Sinnerman from Nina Simone still an anthem nowadays.

Blamma! Blamma! give us a new single 'Zsa Zsa', a piano-laden, deep disco gem featuring the gorgeous vocals of Kristina Train. This slo-mo beauty oozes Balearic charm with oscillating synths, live elements and a massive chorus that should keep discerning dancefloors moving until next summer.
Wolf + Lamb are on the flip with their deep, rolling house remix – harnessing trippy, undulating synths to create great layers within the track. Snare drums also inject pace and groove to hypnotic effect.

’Running To The Sea’ and ‘Something In My Heart’ are in essence both expressions of compulsion and its strong, often uncontrollable, persisting pull. Dependence is a returning theme in our music
The equally elegant singing on b-side ‘Something In My Heart’ - a melancholy, synth hybrid - is provided by Jamie of cult orchestral pop ensemble Irrepressibles.

Birdmask Visuals go 3D. Back in December 2012 I was approached by DJ and Producer duo Punks Jump Up to create a music video for a new track they were wanting to release this year - a giveaway to promote them releasing new tracks under their own label.
Their style is very much influenced by 80s and early 90s electro pop; synth led and with a pounding house beat. This new version of Birdmask visuals is a nod back to that time with it's bright colours and geometric shapes.
There are 2 versions of the track in the final release - a club mix and the video version. The video version goes down a more cinematic route, with bigger build ups.

No Eyes, which features the vocals of Jaw from dOP has been getting love from all over the world including plays by Annie Mac and Pete Tong ('Essential Tune') on BBC Radio 1 who named Claptone 'Future Star of 2013' at the beginning of the year.
It’s a gripping deep house production with an expressive melody, driven by the low and eerie bass line. The airy keyboard chords gives it the personality of a dark, daydream vibe, while the progression is rhythmic and funky. The fresh vocals interlock with the deep house instrumental, creating a song that will be bumping in the back of your mind for a while.
